Our publication policies and ethics statements are based on Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Core Practices for Journals and Publishers. Our policies help us maintain the highest standards while fast publication of articles. Authors should go through these policies before submitting their manuscripts; this will help make the publication process smooth and easy. At the International Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science and Engineering, we adhere to the below policies.
The ethical policy of IJCSE is based on the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines (http://publicationethics.org (Core Practices and Guidelines)). The IJCSE is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal. All parties involved in publishing an article in this journal (editors, peer reviewers, authors, and publishers) must follow appropriate guidelines for ethical behavior. In general, editors and reviewers must maintain objectivity and confidentiality and manage potential conflicts of interest; authors must be honest and disclose their sources and funders. More precisely, to assure high-quality publications, public trust in scientific findings, and proper credit for ideas and results, ethical standards for publication in the International Journal of Scientific Research in Computer Science and Engineering include.
The organization prioritizes the resolution of complaints and appeals regarding its publication and editorial decisions. Authors, reviewers, and readers may submit concerns about ethical breaches or editorial practices using the contact details listed on the journal’s home page.
Procedure:
All authors, reviewers, and editorial board members are required to declare any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their work or the perception of their work. If any undisclosed conflicts of interest arise, both before and after the manuscript publication, appropriate actions will be taken in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
We encourage authors to provide access to data and methodologies that support their findings.
All research must be conducted in accordance with ethical guidelines.
Few authors request that their paper be removed from the publication process after it has been submitted or after it has been published. In certain cases, the request for withdrawal is made just days before the work is due to be published in the journal. Editors, reviewers, and editing staff may squander time as a result of this withdrawal.
To avoid unjustified withdrawals of manuscripts, IJCSE established the following withdrawal policy. Before sending a request for withdrawal, the associated author or co-authors should address the following statement.
Unethical withdrawal- Unless there were strong reasons for the manuscript withdrawal, during advanced stages in the editorial process or when peer reviews were near completion, the manuscript withdrawal requests were unacceptable.
The article processing charges, if paid by the authors, will not be refunded if the manuscript is withdrawn after publication.
If the authors do not respond to communications from the editorial office, even after multiple reminders, at any point during the publication process, IJCSE reserves the right to reveal the authors' conduct and manuscript content without further approval from the authors, and cannot be held liable for the consequences.
Only the most obvious and inevitable reasons will be allowed to withdraw a manuscript. To remove a manuscript, authors must send an email to support@isroset.org with the "Article withdrawal form" to the Editorial Office, which must be signed by all authors and provide the reason for withdrawal. The form is accessible from the journal's editorial office. Authors should not presume that their paper has been withdrawn unless they receive notification from the editorial office to that effect.
If the review procedure for a paper takes longer than six months, the author has the option to withdraw the article without incurring any fees.
Manuscript Withdrawal Charge- Before the author submits the manuscript through our OJS, the author is required to approve the checklist provided by us.
Manuscript Removal- In an extremely limited number of cases, it may be compulsory to remove an Manuscript from the online database. This will only occur where the Manuscript is clearly insulting, or infringes others’ legal rights, or where the Manuscript is, or we have good cause to expect it will be, the subject of a court order, or where the Manuscript, if acted upon, might pose serious losses. In these circumstances, while the metadata (Title and Authors) will be retained, the text will be replaced with a screen indicating the Manuscript has been detached for legal reasons.
Manuscript Replacement- In cases where the research paper, if acted upon, might pose serious losses, the authors of the original research paper may wish to take back the faulty original and replace it with a corrected version. In these conditions the procedures for retraction will be followed with the difference that the database retraction notice will publish a link to the corrected re-published research paper and a history of the document.
Copyright Ownership: All publications are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License, which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, even commercially as long as the original work is properly cited.
Authors retain full copyright ownership of their work. Upon acceptance of the manuscript for publication, authors are asked to sign an author agreement form verifying that they have the right to publish the material and that they grant permission to the ISROSET to publish their work. In addition:
Originality and Plagiarism: The journal upholds the highest standards of academic integrity. Plagiarism—defined as the appropriation of another's ideas, processes, results, or expressions without proper acknowledgment—is strictly prohibited. Authors must ensure that all contributions are original and properly credit any sources used. The editors will have access to plagiarism detection tools and retain the authority to reject submissions that fail to meet originality standards. Any instances of plagiarism may result in disciplinary actions, including the retraction of published articles and reporting to relevant academic institutions. Click here for complete policy details.
Attribution and Citation: Authors are obligated to provide appropriate attribution and citation for all sources and references used in their work, including direct quotes, paraphrased ideas, media, and data from other works. Proper citation is essential for maintaining the credibility of the research and respecting the intellectual property rights of original authors. Authors should adhere to the journal’s prescribed citation style and ensure that all contributions to the manuscript are acknowledged. The journal promotes transparency in authorship and the recognition of funding sources, research assistants, and all other contributors.
Intellectual Property Disputes: In the event of an intellectual property dispute, the editors will investigate the claim thoroughly and in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines. All parties involved will be given the opportunity to present their case. If necessary, the organization may seek the expertise of external experts to resolve the dispute. Potential outcomes may include formal retractions, corrections, or other appropriate actions based on the findings.
Research misconduct refers to a range of unethical behaviors that undermine the integrity of scientific research. The main types of research misconduct include:
Three versions of the Contribution are referenced in these guidelines:
Once the manuscript is accepted, the author can share the accepted paper in any format at any time. This includes downloadable copies on websites, uploading it to various repositories or networks, sharing it through social media, and distributing both print and electronic copies.

The editorial team suggests that the published material must be cited or referenced when the final published version is used or shared.
