Abstract

As Wireless Communication Networks (WCN’s) are getting more and more popular, many applications are accessed through WCN’s. The lower bandwidths of individual network interfaces can be aggregated to have a larger logical link to meet the demands of applications requiring high bandwidth. This paper proposes a bandwidth aggregation scheme through a concurrent multipath transfer of data with the aim to achieve increased transmission throughput. Incorporating compression\decompression technique can further enhance the transmission throughput.
